Stranded trainee guide dog rescued by firefighters
A trainee guide dog that became stranded across a dyke away from its owner has been rescued.
Firefighters from the March Station in Cambridgeshire were called to help a young service dog at about 14:00 GMT on Tuesday.
The dog got into trouble at Gault Wood when it was separated from its owner during an afternoon walk.
A spokesperson from the fire service said: "We got to work and managed to get across and quickly reunite them."
