Man who died in A605 crash is named at inquest
A coroner has named a 23-year-old man who died in a two-vehicle road traffic collision.
Muhammad Faizan died at the scene of the crash at Coates, on the A605 Wisbech Road near Peterborough, at about 20:30 GMT on 21 December.
Coroner Caroline Jones, who opened the inquest into his death, suspended the hearing to allow for criminal proceedings.
The court was told Mr Faizan, from Peterborough, suffered severe blunt force trauma and was pronounced dead at about 21:11.
Owen Bird, 45, from March, Cambridgeshire, is expected to appear at Cambridge Crown Court on 20 January charged with causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
