Major road reopens in both directions after crash
A road that was closed for several hours in both directions, after a two-vehicle crash in which three people were injured, has reopened.
Emergency services were called at about 07:14 GMT on Tuesday to the A10 in Cambridgeshire - between Oak Lane, in Littleport, and the B1411 Downham Road in Ely.
A man was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge with serious injuries and a woman and a child were also taken to hospital for treatment.
The county council confirmed on X at about 13:50 that the main A10 had been reopened.
A fire service spokesperson said it had sent two crews to the scene at the time, and specialist equipment was used to help release a casualty.
