Another woman in her 20s was also hurt.

Jacob Clark, 25, from Skelton Close, Luton, was arrested on Wednesday and remanded into custody, ahead of a court hearing at Luton Magistrates' Court on Friday.

Paying tribute, a friend previously told the BBC that Ms Cleary was "kind and loving" and had a "glowing smile and infectious laugh".

Her family said they planned to light lanterns in her memory in the town's Lea Manor Field on Saturday.

Bedfordshire Police said specialist officers were supporting the family, adding that anyone with information about the case should dial 101 quoting Operation Wroxham or get in touch with Crimestoppers anonymously.
