Town roars as annual bike night fills streets
Thousands of motorbikes filled the streets in Barton-upon-Humber as its much-loved annual bike night returned.
Running for nearly 30 years, Wednesday's event drew crowds of all ages, eager to admire the eclectic mix of machines, from vintage classics to modern marvels.
Among them was a rare Skylab motorcycle taxi, imported from Thailand and still ridden by its 75-year-old owner, Sandra Burton, despite it being a "bumpy" ride.
The event also featured carnival rides, food stalls and street traders.
Organised entirely by volunteers and supported by local businesses, Barton Bike Night has been a staple of the town's summer calendar since 1997.
