London charity aims to make cycling more accessible

A south London charity is breaking down barriers by trying to make cycling accessible to all.

Lambeth-based Wheels for Wellbeing provides a safe, supportive space for disabled people to discover or rediscover the joy of cycling, thanks to a range of adaptive bicycles and free cycle loans.

"Cycling has helped me feel more confident about going out on my own," says Susie, who now cycles to work and no longer relies on lifts from her parents.

As cycling in the capital has increased by more than 50% in the past two years, the charity wants to ensure no one is left behind.
