The "serious incident" happened on Eastbury Way in Swindon

A 17-year-old boy has been stabbed and his e-bike stolen on a residential estate, police have said.

Officers were called to Eastbury Way in Redhouse, Swindon, at about 17:50 GMT on Saturday, where a boy had suffered injuries not thought to be serious.

Three teenage boys, all 15-years-old, have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and released on bail after they were found with the stolen bike.

"This incident has taken place in public yesterday evening, at the junction between Eastbury Way and Addinsell Road, and we would ask anyone who witnessed it or has any information to get in touch with us," Det Ch Insp Phil Walker said.

"This was a serious incident in which a teenager has suffered knife wounds and had his bike stolen," Mr Walker added.

"Following swift enquiries, we were able to detain and arrest three teenagers in connection with the incident and recover the bike."

Wiltshire Police is urging anyone who saw what happened to contact them by calling 101.
