Man charged with driving-related offences after Westlink crash

A 27-year-old man has been charged in connection with a crash on the Westlink in Belfast which left another man in a critical but stable condition in hospital.

It happened in the early hours of Friday morning.

The man faces a number of driving-related offences, including causing grievous bodily injury by driving, aggravated vehicle taking in which the vehicle is driven dangerously, failing to remain where accident occurred causing injury and driving while disqualified.

He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on Saturday.
