Car 'intentionally driven' at woman in village
A 20-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent after a woman was hit by a car in a village near Wetherby.
Emergency services were called to The Village in Thorp Arch at 19:25 BST on Monday.
West Yorkshire Police said they received a report that the black Vauxhall Corsa involved had been intentionally driven at the 28-year-old victim.
She was taken to hospital for treatment for multiple serious injuries which are not considered life-threatening, the force said.
The suspect remains in custody while enquiries continue.
Police are appealing to witnesses or anyone with information to contact them.
