Manhunt for escaped prisoner last seen on train

A manhunt is under way for an escaped prisoner last seen boarding a train.
Liam Slater, 33, absconded from HMP Hatfield in Doncaster at about 18:10 BST on 18 May before getting on a train to Leeds at Stainforth station at about 20:45.
South Yorkshire Police said Slater has links to Wetherby and Seacroft in Leeds and officers asked for anyone who has seen or spoken to him to contact the force.
A police spokesperson said people should not approach Slater if they see him but instead phone 999 immediately.
HMP Hatfield is a category D men's prison and young offenders' institution, which houses about 370 inmates.
A spokesperson for HM Prison Service said: "We are urgently working with the police to recapture this prisoner.
"Absconds are rare, but those who break the rules face tough consequences including extra jail time."
