Public to help shape future plans for city centre
Residents and businesses in Hull are being asked for their views on the city centre to help shape a future development plan.
Hull City Council said the project would help it to "deliver a more family-friendly, sustainable and prosperous city centre of the future".
The council is also working alongside a specialist urban design team, Planit, on the consultation which runs until 16 March.
A series of drop-in events will be held at the Prince Quay Shopping Centre on 8,11 and 12 February for members of the public to give their ideas and feedback.
The Hull City Centre Vision will form part of the council's Local Plan which looks at long-term strategies around housing, carbon emissions, the economy and health.
Paul Drake-Davis, the council's portfolio holder for regeneration and housing, said: "We're excited by this new project as we look to create a city centre that reflects the long-term needs and aspirations of our residents and businesses.
"We want our city centre to be a better place for people to live, work and thrive."
