A woman has been charged in connection with a reported dog attack in Aberdeenshire.

BBC Scotland News revealed last month a woman had been taken to hospital from the Udny Station area.

Police Scotland said a 34-year-old woman had now been charged after the incident on 19 December.

A warrant was executed at an address in the local area and a dog was seized. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
