Residents evacuated after sheltered accommodation blaze

Residents were evacuated after a large blaze broke out at a sheltered accommodation unit.
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to a large fire at the unit run by not-for-profit organisation and housing provider Pobl in the Riverside area of Cardiff just before midnight on Monday.
Nobody was injured, but parts of the roof of the building were damaged.
Neighbours were also advised to close windows and doors as smoke was blown towards Cardiff Bay.
Crews left the scene in the early hours of Tuesday but will return at 08:00 GMT to check for flare-ups.
A fire investigation is due to take place.
Lorraine Griffiths, assistant director of Pobl, said while they were disappointed about the damage to their building, everyone was "safe and well".
She declined to comment further pending an investigation.
