A woman has been arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter after the death of a child.
Officers were called by the Welsh Ambulance Service to an address in the village of Llangunnor, Carmarthenshire, at about 18:00 GMT on 20 February.
Police said a girl was found to be "unwell" at the property and was taken to hospital where she died a short time later.
Dyfed-Powys Police has not revealed the age of either the girl who died or the woman they have arrested, but said inquiries were ongoing.
