Plans have been submitted to remove a bell tower in East Yorkshire for urgent repair work.
The Grade II listed tower on Beverley Minster Parish Hall has been deemed unsafe in a report by surveyors.
The work would include the replacement of much of the timber, which has decayed.
Some parts of the tower are missing completely and some are loose.

The plans submitted to East Riding Council say the changes would be made without altering the tower's appearance, reports the Local Democracy Reporting Service.
The parish hall is used by the minister and other community groups, and can host up to 100 people.
