Bad parking could put lives at risk - coastguard

Cleethorpes Coastguard has warned motorists not to block access to the beach.
Officers said vehicles had parked across their access route, from the Humber Mouth Yacht Club car park, on several occasions.
And they warned careless parking could endanger lives.
Shaun Lee, from the coastguard, said: "People need to think about where they park. We're finding lately, as more people visit Cleethorpes, people are parking in front of the gates."

Signs in the car park, at at Humberston Fitties, warn that access is needed around the clock.
Crews could be called out to "time critical" incidents, such as people who are stuck in mud or in difficulty in the water.
A spokesperson said the coastguard was working with Humberside Police, North East Lincolnshire Council and the Fitties Neighbourhood Watch group to resolve the problem.
