Café training people with learning disabilities
A café in London's West End is helping people with learning disabilities prepare for work in the hospitality industry.
The people behind Fair Shot Café first opened a coffee shop in Mayfair in December 2021, but now serve the workers and tourists of Covent Garden.
What started out as a training scheme at West London College, Fair Shot helps about 15 people a year.
Nineteen employers have signed up to give jobs to the students, getting them ready for the world of work, while at the same time helping build their self-esteem.
