Firefighters are tackling a blaze at village pub with a thatched roof.

Twelve fire appliances have surrounded The Jolly Sailor pub in Ogwell, near Newton Abbot, Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said.

The building, which caught fire at about 16:40 BST, is "fully" ablaze and at risk of collapse, the service added.

Fire crews have sprayed surrounding properties with compressed air foam to protect other thatched roofs from flying embers.
