Residents and visitors to Lewes and Eastbourne are set to benefit, according to Thameslink.

Train services have been disrupted but have since returned to normal, Thameslink says.

The funding for the upgrades has been provided by the Department for Transport.

The changes will support the late night economy as the summer season begins.

Habitats have been installed in Horley in Surrey and Glynde, Plumpton and Berwick in East Sussex.
