Part of a road in Caversham collapsed after a water pipe burst in January.

The footpath where the sinkhole has appeared has been closed off to the public.

It comes after a burst water main created the sinkhole beneath the road in December 2024.

Residents say they are "fed up and frustrated" with a lack of communication from Thames Water.

Bury Council warns Bury New Road will remain shut for the "next few days" with diversions in place.

The council says a "detailed investigation" revealed "a void" across Bury New Road's "full width".

Station Road Castle Cary was closed for emergency sinkhole repairs at the weekend.

Residents are told it may take many months before the road is repaired and reopened.
