A 22-year-old man has appeared in court charged with a number of online child sex offences.

Three members of the same family died in a 2020 crash when their car failed to stop at a junction.

The woman's car was rammed and “boxed in” before she was assaulted in a garage forecourt, the court heard.

The incident happened in Kilrea on Wednesday afternoon.

The crash happened on the Agivey Road on Monday evening, police say.
