A leading leisure provider says it can be on hand to help with the Yarborough and Birchwood centres.

The community venue will be handed over to a local council to continue running operations.

The Yarborough and Birchwood leisure centres in Lincoln have closed amid "tough trading conditions".

The proposals include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a luxury spa retreat and tennis facilities.

The state-of-the-art facility includes a 25m pool and a learner pool with moveable floor.

Three Hampshire businesses that opened during the Covid lockdown say they have not looked back.

Construction will now begin on the leisure and community centre.

Shropshire Council says it has already been inundated for requests for swimming lessons.
