The week-long event will run between 6 and 13 June

Poetry, Tai Chi and wet-felting workshops will be on offer in Sark next month as part of a seven-day long creativity event.

Creative Sark's workshops, founded in 2013 by Amanda Petrie, will run between 6 and 13 June for its sixth year.

Artist Louise Hill, who will be leading one of the workshops, said there were "lots and lots of creative people" on the island, adding some would travel from Guernsey and the UK to take part in the event.

"At the end of every Creative Sark workshop, we'll do a veille evening. It's really pleasant. Bring a bottle and a plate of food to share...it's a really fun evening," she said.

Organisers said the veille evening would take place on 13 June and would offer entertainment including music, poetry and singing.
