Arrests after man dies in single-vehicle crash
GoogleA man has died in a single-vehicle crash in Devon, police say.
Devon and Cornwall Police said officers were called to reports of a collision involving a car on Pinn Lane, near Otterton, at about 02:15 GMT. on Tuesday
An 18-year-old man from the Holsworthy area was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other men from Cornwall, who were also injured in the crash before being arrested and then released from custody, required hospital treatment.
An 18-year-old man from the Wadebridge area was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and on suspicion of driving while unfit through drink.
He was released on bail, pending further enquiries, police said.
A second man, aged 18 from the Bodmin area, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He was later de-arrested and remained in hospital, they added.
Police have appealed for any witnesses or anyone who had any information or dashcam footage to get in contact.
