Motorists have been warned to allow more time for journeys on a motorway with two lanes closed for emergency repairs.

One lane is closed in both directions on the M11 in Cambridgeshire between junction 10 for the A505 at Duxford and junction 13 for Madingley.

National Highways East first alerted drivers on Saturday afternoon, stating safety work was needed on the central reservation. The speed limit on the road has been reduced to 40mph (64km/h).

The organisation told people to allow extra journey time and expect delays, especially at peak times.
