Man, 25, in court charged with murder of woman

A man has appeared in court charged with murder and grievous bodily harm after a woman died and another woman was injured.
Dianne Cleary, 46, died following what Bedfordshire Police described as "an altercation" in a house on Turners Road North in Luton on 20 January.
Another woman in her 20s was also hurt.
Jacob Clark, 25, from Skelton Close, Luton, appeared at Luton Crown Court ahead of a plea hearing scheduled for 28 April and a potential trial date set for 26 August.
