'Increased police presence'

Humberside Police has asked anyone with information, relevant CCTV footage or concerns to get in touch.

Det Insp Richard Mills said: "I understand an incident of this nature will be concerning for the local community.

"However, I want to offer my reassurance that we believe this to be an incident between individuals known to each other.

"A scene guard was put in place whilst officers carried out lines of inquiry to establish the full circumstances, but it has since been removed.

"Inquiries continue to identify those involved, and locals to the area can expect to see an increased police presence over the weekend, providing additional reassurance to residents whilst our investigation continues."
