A 68-year-old man killed in a crash has been named by police.

Avon and Somerset Police said they believed him to be Barry Sellick, though formal identification is yet to take place.

Mr Sellick died following the incident on the A38 Wellington New Road in Taunton, Somerset, shortly before 01:00 GMT on Monday.

A man in his 60s was arrested on Monday afternoon in Cornwall on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, but was released without charge or further action after police reviewed CCTV and dashcam footage.

Police said on Wednesday that as no offences had been identified, a file was now being prepared on behalf of the coroner.
