Man denies raping girl, 14, in park

A 43-year-old man has denied raping a 14-year-old girl in a park.

Hampshire Police reported that an attack took place in Houndwell Park, Southampton, at about 20:30 GMT on 15 February.

Nicholas Foreman, from Christchurch, Dorset, entered not guilty pleas to three charges of rape and one of sexual assault at Southampton Crown Court. The judge set a trial date of 28 July and remanded him in custody.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said that the girl was being supported by specialist officers.
