Woman, 75, dies after being hit by car
GoogleA woman has died after being hit by a car while walking along a path in North Lincolnshire.
Humberside Police said the 75-year-old was struck by a Mini Cooper on 12 December in East Lound Road, Owston Ferry, near Gainsborough.
She died from her injuries on Saturday, the force said.
Another woman, aged 77, was reportedly hit by the same car and treated for serious injuries.
A 76-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drink or drugs, as well as careless driving causing serious injury.
He has since been released under investigation.
Officers asked anyone with information or any CCTV or dashcam footage to get in touch.
