Our weekly round-up of pictures includes plenty of wintry scenes as temperatures dropped and some areas got a covering of snow.

The winter can also generate stunning scenes as photos taken in places such as Stroud and the Cotswolds will show.

It's that time: The snowdrops have once again arrived with the snow. Painswick Rococo Garden are expecting five millions snowdrops this year - and are excited to see some blossoming already. The garden is back open again from the 18 January.

The art of driving: This photo was sent in by one of BBC Gloucestershire's weather watchers. This picture was captured in Tetbury after somebody left a heartfelt (literally) message on Marion's drive.
