Police disperse group 'causing nuisance' in town
Bicycles and mobile phones were seized from young people accused of anti-social behaviour in a seaside town, police say.
A Facebook post from Devon and Cornwall Police officers in Torquay on Tuesday said officers had been dealing with a group of youths who had been "causing nuisance" in the town centre over a few days during Christmas.
The post said officers seized two bikes and two mobile phones from the group, with group members being issued with a dispersal order to stay away from the town centre for 48 hours.
"We will not tolerate this sort of behaviour in our town and will use our powers to remove individuals and seize property from them if needed," the post added.
