A third teenage boy has been charged with the rape of a girl near a park.

Two 14-year-old boys, from Fordingbridge, Hampshire, appeared in court in February on charges of raping and threatening to kill a 14-year-old girl on land adjacent to Fordingbridge Recreation Ground in the New Forest on the evening of 17 January.

Hampshire Constabulary said a 13-year-old boy from Romsey has also been charged with rape.

He was released on conditional bail and is due to appear at Southampton Youth Court on 2 June.

The two 14-year-old boys previously charged are due to face trial at Southampton Crown Court, beginning on 11 August.

One of the boys is also charged with possession of a blade in public and kidnap with intent to commit a sexual offence.

The other is also charged with kidnap.
