Sixteenth arrest over alleged hare coursing

A sixteenth man has been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and attending a hare coursing event, following a spate of incidents in Cambridgeshire last month.
On 25 January residents reported that dozens of people driving 4x4s and wearing balaclavas sped through Fenland villages and caused widespread damage to farmland.
The county's police force said a 25-year-old man from Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, was arrested on Tuesday. He was taken to Thorpe Wood Police Station in Peterborough and released on bail.
Officers have also seized a number of vehicles as part of their investigation.
The remaining men who have been arrested and bailed by police are:
- Four men, aged 18, 20, 26 and 49, from Spalding, Lincolnshire
- A 26-year-old man from Grantham, Lincolnshire
- A 30-year-old man from Basildon, Essex
- Two men, aged 22 and 51, from Chelmsford, Essex
- A 46-year-old man from Solihull, West Midlands
- A 44-year-old man from Horton, Berkshire
- Two men, aged 19 and 44, from Datchet, Berkshire
- A 28-year-old man from Winkfield, Berkshire
- A 40-year-old man from Hungerford, Berkshire
- A 35-year-old man from Reading, Berkshire
