Arrest after suspected stabbing in Exeter

A man in his 20s has been arrested after a suspected stabbing in Exeter, police have said.
Devon and Cornwall Police said a man had "sustained a number of puncture wounds" and his injuries were described as life-threatening.
The incident took place off Station Road, in the Exwick area of the city, on Thursday afternoon.
Police said a man in his 20s had been arrested in connection with the incident and remained in custody.
Police officers were called to the scene by ambulance crews at about 17:50 BST.
They said the injured man was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital after being treated at the scene.
Police are appealing for witnesses. Anyone with information is asked to contact the force, quoting log number 714 of 12 June.
