Damaged traffic lights closes A146 slip roads
Parts of an intersection on a busy A-road have been closed following a single-vehicle crash.
Norfolk Police said a Range Rover struck traffic lights on the A146 at Trowse, on the outskirts of Norwich, at 16:24 GMT on Sunday.
No-one was injured and no arrests were made.
Norfolk County Council said slip roads at the junction where the road meets the A47 would be closed until further notice.
A National Highways spokesperson added: "The damage to the traffic lights on the A146 has affected the power supply to the traffic lights at the bottom of the A47 eastbound exit slip road, and the slip road is closed for safety reasons.
"We currently have engineers on site assessing the situation, but we don't yet have a time frame for when we expect power to be restored."
The slip road leading on to the A146 from Dereham and the slip road leading on to the A47 towards Dereham, including the right-hand filter lane, has also been closed.
The filter lane leading on to the A47 towards Great Yarmouth has also been shut.
