Kendrick Lamar and SZA to play Cardiff summer gig
Kendrick Lamar and SZA are set to take the stage at Cardiff's Principality Stadium in July.
The American rapper performed on Sunday at the Super Bowl, which was for many a victory lap following his knock-out blow in a long-running beef with fellow rapper Drake.
The star won five Grammy awards for Not Like Us, his brutal takedown of rap rival Drake, and is now set to take on Europe and the UK in a summer tour with singer SZA.
The pair will perform on 19 July in Cardiff, with a pre-sale taking place on 12 February and a general sale on 14 February.
The pair will also be performing at Hampden park, Glasgow on 8 July and Villa Park in Birmingham on 10 July.
Following their Cardiff performance they will also play at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on 22 July.
This summer Rag'n'Bone Man and Faithless will also be performing in Cardiff as they headline the TK Maxx presents Depot Live at Cardiff Castle event.
Triple BRIT Award and Ivor Novello Award winner Rag'n'Bone Man will headline on 13 July, when he will be joined by blues star Elles Bailey.
And Insomnia legends Faithless will headline on 1 August, with support from Chicane and Kosheen.
The announcement is the latest reveal for gigs at the castle, which will also see Snow Patrol, The Human League, James, Fontaines DC, Alanis Morissette, Elbow, Sting, The Script, Jess Glynne and UB40 featuring Ali Campbell perform.
