Farm ordered to stop dumping waste

A farm has been ordered to stop importing and dumping waste on its own land.
Wiltshire Council has issued an enforcement notice against the owners of Wyatts Lake Farm in Bromham, which also bans them from having unauthorised residential caravans on site.
Investigating council officers served the notice on 18 February and will come into effect from 25 March, with the land to be cleared over an 18-month period.
Councillor Nick Botterill, cabinet member for strategic planning, said the authority had "no choice" but to serve the "last resort" enforcement notice.
The notice requires that the owners and occupiers of the farm stop importing waste on the site within one month, and that the unauthorised residential caravans on site are taken out of use within six months.
Mr Botterill added: "We are committed to tackling planning breaches such as this in Wiltshire and we will use all available legal powers to enforce planning regulations wherever they may occur.
"We will continue to work with all people involved in this matter to ensure compliance with this enforcement notice."
