Football club reassures fans over toilet camera
A football club has said a CCTV camera above one block of women's toilets does not breach privacy rules.
A Birmingham City fan shared a photograph of the camera on X after visiting Swindon Town's County Ground on Tuesday. It can be seen clearly from inside the toilet cubicle.
A club spokesperson has said the camera does "not have a view into the toilets" and is "blocked by a digital privacy blur".
Her Game Too, which campaigns against sexism in sport, said it was aware of the camera and was "in communication with the club to rectify the issue".

The club has already put up warning signs about the camera following a similar complaint in April 2024.
It says the camera is used to monitor fans, emergency exits and the concourse.
"While the club is confident that the current arrangements comply full with data protection legislation, we will investigate the possibility of providing additional measures as soon as possible to allay fans concerns," a Swindon Town spokesperson said.
