Woman, 76, dies after being hit by car on driveway

A 76-year-old woman has died after she was struck by a car she had got out of on a driveway in Leeds.
West Yorkshire Police said the fatal collision took place on Lea Mill Park Drive in Yeadon at about 14:20 GMT on Thursday.
Pauline Millward was a passenger in a Hyundai Tucson which had pulled onto the driveway and which struck her after she had left the vehicle.
A man was arrested in connection with the incident and had since been released on bail pending further inquiries, police said.
In a statement, Ms Millward's family said she was a "wonderful woman".
"She was an amazing mother, wife, mother-in-law, grandmother and sister who would have done anything for her family," they said.
"She will be missed every day by all who knew her. At this time we would ask for some privacy as a family."
A force spokesperson said officers from the Major Collision Enquiry Team were continuing their investigations.
Anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and who might have witnessed what happened was asked to get in touch with police.
