Man, 91, charged with abuse at children's home
Two people including a 91-year-old man have been charged with committing child sex offences at a Halifax children's home more than 30 years ago.
Malcolm Phillips, of Tyseley in Birmingham, is charged with 32 offences, including rape and indecent assault, relating to seven victims between 1976 and 1994.
Linda Brunning, 65, of Sowerby Bridge, has been charged with 15 offences relating to three victims between 1980 and 1994. Both will appear before Bradford magistrates on Tuesday.
It follows an inquiry launched in 2018 into abuse at Skircoat Lodge Children's Home between 1970 and 1995, West Yorkshire Police said.
