Robbers in balaclavas steal phones and accessories

Suffolk Police appealed for witnesses after mobiles and accessories were stolen from the phone shop

Three male suspects wearing balaclavas stole mobile phones and accessories from a shop in a town centre, police said.

Officers said the group threatened staff at the O2 shop in Tavern Street in Ipswich during the robbery at about 13:00 BST on Thursday.

Suffolk Police said the suspects carried a large sports bag and fled on foot.

The force appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

One of the suspects was described as wearing black jogging bottoms and a black hoodie. He wore grey or light-coloured Nike trainers and was carrying a white bag with the Nike logo over this shoulder, as well as the black sports bag.

Police said the second suspect was described as wearing light-coloured trousers or jogging bottoms with a dark-coloured hoodie with the hood up. He wore black trainers with a white and black sole.

The third suspect was described as wearing black jogging bottoms with a white logo on the left thigh, a black hoodie with "man" written in white across the chest and black trainers.
