A man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being found seriously hurt in the early hours in Lisburn, County Antrim, the police have said.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said it received a report at 05:00 BST that a man had been found seriously injured on Prince William Road.

The man was treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital.

Police are still at the scene carrying out enquiries.
