Suffolk Police confirmed a man died at the scene of a serious single-vehicle collision in Gislingham

A man in his 30s has died following a motorcycle crash in a village, police have said.

Suffolk Police was called to Gislingham, Suffolk, at 15:55 GMT on Sunday following reports of a single-vehicle collision.

Officers said a red Honda motorbike had crashed into a telegraph pole on the B1113 Finningham Road.

Paramedics and firefighters attended the incident but the rider of the bike died at the scene.

As a result of the incident the road was closed for several hours and reopened at 01:30 on Monday.

Officers have appealed to any motorists who were driving in the area around the time of the crash to contact them with any dashcam footage.
