Shooting victim was much-loved dad, say family

The family of a "much-loved dad" who was shot dead at his home say his loss has been devastating.
Barry Dawson, 60, died when he was shot through the window of his home in Elm Street in Stanley, County Durham, on Saturday.
In a statement, his family said: "We are truly devastated, and his loss will leave an enormous gap in our lives."
A 37-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman who were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder on Sunday remained in custody, Durham Police said.
The family added: "Barry was a much-loved father, granddad and partner who will be greatly missed."
A police spokesman said "several lines of inquiry" were being pursued and officers would continue to work in the area "for a significant period of time".
They appealed for anyone who saw a white Seat Arona with the registration NA24 OJK on the Saturday in the Stanley and Annfield Plain area to come forward.
The force said it had a 35-strong team of detectives from its major crime team working "around the clock", alongside armed response officers, crime scene examiners, search teams and neighbourhood officers.
