A sports event for schoolchildren of all skill levels is being held in Guernsey and Alderney in June.
The Guernsey Sports Commission (GSC ) is running a youth games, featuring 23 sports, for children in Years 5 and 6.
Archery and fencing are being introduced as new sports, joining skateboarding and padel (a form of tennis played indoors on smaller courts), which were introduced in 2023, the commission said.
GSC youth games coordinator Nicky Will said the event was "a great opportunity for young people" to get involved with a large-scale event.

The GSC gave an assembly at Haute Capelles Primary School to explain how the games would work.
Children competing in the event would be put into teams of six to learn their chosen sport until the competition on Saturday 14 June, bosses said.
Ms Will said: "It's fantastic we've got so many sporting organisations who are prepared to give their time and energy to... teach them how to play these sports.
"We know that sport has a fantastic role in keeping children both physically and mentally healthy, and the... youth games are all about having fun as well."
