Grandfather who died in crash 'dearly missed'

The family of a grandfather who died in a road crash in Wiltshire has said he will be "dearly missed".

Rob Love, 62, died in the crash on the A350 at the West Ashton crossroads on 17 December when his Yamaha YP 400 motorcycle collided with a Volkswagen Taigo.

He served in the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards for 13 years, which included active service during the Gulf War, his family said.

Mr Love's family said he was a "passionate scooter rider who enjoyed organised events with the local biking community".

He met his wife Sue in Warminster in 1987 and they married the following year.

The couple lived in Westbury for more than 30 years and had a son called Stuart, and stepchildren Antony and Richard.

Mr Love's family described him as a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

"Rob will be dearly missed by Sue, the boys, his grandchildren, sister, nephew, extended family and friends," they said in a tribute.
