Three men deny murdering dad in street attack
Three men have denied murdering a dad during the middle of the day in a residential street.
Kieran Shepherd, 30, was fatally injured in Meadgate Avenue in Great Baddow, near Chelmsford, on 15 October.
Joseph Dawe, 20, of Greenland Gardens in Great Baddow, Zack O'Keeffe, 19, of Stafford Green in Langdon Hills and Harrison Carpenter, 20, of Ben Wilson Link, Chelmsford, all entered the pleas on Monday.
The defendants were told they would face a trial at Chelmsford Crown Court on 11 August.
Judge Christopher Morgan remanded them in custody until a further administrative hearing.
Mr Shepherd was found unresponsive by a member of the public at about 12:30 BST on the day in question.
He was described by his family as a "kind and loving son, brother and father".
