Man, 75, hit by car has life-threatening injuries
A 75-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries when he was hit by a car in Rotherham.
The pedestrian was struck in Dearne Road at about 06:20 GMT on Tuesday, a South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said.
The driver of the car, a black Vauxhall Mokka travelling towards Bolton upon Dearne, remained at the scene and was co-operating with officers, they added.
The spokesperson asked any witnesses, or anyone with information or dash cam footage, to get in touch.
