A large quantity of cannabis was found dumped down a toilet at a house in Nottingham.
Police said officers attended the address in Colchester Road in Strelley on Friday over concerns the property was being used to house drugs.
A man and woman, aged 31 and 39 respectively, have been subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.
They have both been bailed while investigations continue, Nottinghamshire Police added.
The force said cannabis, scales, deal bags and a number of knives including a machete were also found at the address.
